Now, whenever I return home, she doesn’t say much more than hello before showing me out. I’m on my own now, and I’ve learned to deal with the paranoia. I only wish she could understand.

I am a Vipertowner, and Vipertown is my home. I’ll protect it to the end. I swear. I hope to someday share it with my children, and my children’s children. I refuse to run away in fear of the unknown, the town has a few flaws, but it still manages to keep me alive each day.

Despite all the terrible things that happen here, Vipertown is my home and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. I love my town and I would die to defend it.

I once saw a group of teenagers in the alleyway and I tried to ask them for directions, but they ran away. I heard about a young girl who went missing, but she later came back home with her head cut off, and that’s Vipertown for you.

If you’re not a Vipertowner, please reconsider visiting our town. We’re different from the rest of the world and we like it that way. But has anyone thought of the scary things that happen in it every day?

We aren’t perfect, but we try to make the best of it. I guess you could say Vipertown is my home away from home, but I don’t see it as such a bad thing anymore. I remember the first time I met my husband, he told me that his name was Dave and that he loved Vipertown.

He has no idea how hard it is to be a Vipertowner, but he’s a great guy and he loves me despite the craziness. I trust him with my life, which is a lot for a woman who is afraid of the dark. I’ll do anything for him, and I hope that he feels the same.

I think the real reason my mom sent me to Vipertown is that she knew I would meet my soulmate and live happily ever after.

That may sound cheesy, but it’s true. I feel safer and happier in Vipertown than I ever did when I lived in the suburbs.

It takes a strong person to stand their ground and remain firm, even when the odds are against them. I’m glad I followed my heart instead of listening to my brain.
