You Are Not Immortal, Remember Death

You Are Not Immortal, Remember Death: I want you to read this article with a sober heart. It’s only a foolish person that will hold this world with all his or her might.

One of the greatest indisputable facts that wins all debate is that, “mankind fears nothing more in his life than death.” This truth has brought much fear in people that made them hate the word “death”, maybe, it’s because of its mystries to us.

People are afraid to see the grave or hear about because of its connection with death. Remember death because it destroys happiness and pleasure. Death separates us from our families, loved ones, children, and friends. Many people view death as the separation between them and their loved ones, after which there is no reunion.

Don’t forget that when death comes, prayer won’t work again, so remember death.

I want to remind you that you will die, just one day, you will die, I will die— everyone of us will die and return to dust. Though, some of us will be alive when Christ will return to earth. We should remember death. Death is inevitable and no one is above it, we should know we live our lives.

Remember death in all you do; don’t claim to be an immortal because you’re not. When dealing with people, don’t behave as if you’re God, you can’t. If something is deceiving you not to believe that one day, you will die, you better situp no; you better remember death as a force you cannot fight.

Meditate On These Phrases:

1. Dear President, you will die one day. Why not lead well?

2. Dear Governor, you will die one day. Why not govern well?

3. Dear Minister, you will die one day. Why not administer well?

4. Dear Senator, you will die one day. Why not represent well?

5. Dear Priest/Pastor, you will die one day. Why not pastor well?

6. Dear Soldier, Policeman, and other security agencies personnel, you will die one day. Why not serve well?

7. Dear Judge, you will die one day. Why not judge fairly?

8. Dear Politician, you will die one day. Why not lead well?

9. Dear Individual, you will die one day. Why not live a good life?

There is war here and there that claims thousands of lives, especially the recent war between Ukraine and Russia. On the streets lie the corpses of military, police, and individuals who have never expected the war. Can you imagine how their bodies are laying helplessly without breath?

You Are Not Immortal, Remember Death

Those were gallant soldiers, policemen, policewomen, wealthy and poor individuals, clergies, and laypeople of Ukraine.

Soldiers with arms could not defend themselves from the power of death despite the defenses they gave their countries, ready to wage war and defend at any given time. But when it is time to return to dust, their arms will never save them. They will become helpless.

Ask Yourself These Questions:

a) What about those who were killed by Boko Haram, Bandits, Unknown Gunmen, and other terrorist organizations in the world?

b) What of those who died through accident, suicide, and other abnormal means?

c) Can you forget those who died through HIVAIDS, Covid-19, and other deadly viruses?

I’m sure you will not want us to exclude those who died natural death; who slept and never woke up. Their breath is gone living them lifelessly and helplessly and forcing them out of our means. Remember death, remember it as an enemy you can’t defeat.

Soldiers with arms could not defend themselves from the power of death despite the defenses they gave their countries, ready to wage war and defend at any given time. But when it is time to return to dust, their arms will never save them. They will be helpless. But my question is: do they remember death?

Those people who have died, their strengths have left them. They have returned to dust, and do not know what is happening in the land of the living anymore.

Can you imagine that?

That is to prove to you that this world is not your home. It is not my home. It is not our home.

Learn how to treat people right. Stop maltreating them just because you have the power and the money. Well, I don’t think you do remember that you will die one day.

Stop being a hindrance to people, you will die one day. Those of you who had hindered some ladies from getting married, just for one useless reason to the other, do you ever remember that you will die one day? Do you ever remember death?

God, please help us to realize that one day, we will die to enable us to always do good.
